Responsibilities
- Design and develop intricate mechanical assemblies using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/NX).
- Conduct rigorous Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations to ensure product reliability.
- Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff.
- Oversee prototype fabrication, testing, and iterative design improvements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly).
- Manage project timelines, engineering documentation, and compliance with industry safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, specifically in robotics or automated systems.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material science, and kinematics.
- Proven track record of taking complex products from concept through to volume production.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
