Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of complex mechanical systems and assemblies.
- Execute advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate structural integrity and performance.
- Develop detailed technical specifications and engineering drawings using GD&T standards.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and lead design review sessions for cross-functional projects.
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners to optimize Design for Manufacturing (DFM) processes.
- Conduct environmental and life-cycle testing to ensure product reliability in extreme conditions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional certification.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks, CREO, or high-end CAD suites.
- Demonstrated experience in thermal management and heat transfer analysis.
- Working knowledge of material science, specifically high-performance alloys and polymers.
- Proven track record of delivering successful products from concept to market.
