Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Develop detailed engineering documentation (DFMAs, FMEAs, BOMs)
- Optimize designs for weight reduction and performance targets
- Conduct thermal and structural simulations in dynamic environments
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners for prototyping
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
- Experience with composite material integration
- Strong knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
