Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to validation using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations to optimize structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings with GD&T specifications
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate new mechanisms
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous process improvements
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for high-reliability systems
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools (FEA/CFD)
- Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of delivering complex mechanical systems
- ASME Y14.5 GD&T certification
- Aerospace or defense industry experience highly valued
