Responsibilities
- Lead design lifecycle of complex mechanical systems using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated automation solutions
- Perform FEA analysis and tolerance optimization for high-pressure components
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for compliance
- Develop prototypes and validate designs through rigorous testing protocols
- Research emerging materials and manufacturing techniques for performance enhancement
- Prepare technical documentation and patent disclosures for proprietary innovations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years in heavy machinery or energy sector design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of ASME codes and pressure vessel standards
- Experience with GD&T and DFMEA methodologies
- Proven project management using Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems
