Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of energy storage systems using SolidWorks and Creo
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal modeling for product optimization
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated system design
- Develop manufacturing processes and documentation for production scalability
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Drive DFM/DFA initiatives to reduce production costs by 20%+
- Interface with suppliers and vendors for component sourcing and validation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred) with 5+ years experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks/CATIA and ANSYS/Abaqus
- Proven track record in electromechanical product development
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis principles
- Experience with rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC machining)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex mechanical challenges
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
