We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of complex electro-mechanical systems. You will play a pivotal role in taking projects from conceptual design through to final production deployment.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of automated machinery and robotic sub-assemblies.
- Perform advanced stress, thermal, and kinematic analyses to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Select materials and manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, casting) to optimize costs and lead times.
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models and production-ready engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with electrical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Oversee prototype fabrication and lead testing/validation cycles to meet safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine design or high-precision robotics.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM/PLM systems.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing design (DFM/DFA).
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, assembly, and instrumentation testing.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical failures in a production environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead project timelines and cross-functional teams.
