Responsibilities
- Design and develop intricate mechanical assemblies and systems for industrial robotics.
- Perform structural analysis, FEA, and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure product reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics and software into mechanical frameworks.
- Create comprehensive 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks/CATIA.
- Lead design reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee prototyping and testing phases.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry-specific regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical product design and development.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or high-end CAD modeling software.
- Proven experience with FEA tools (e.g., Ansys, Abaqus) and motion simulation.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, injection molding, and 3D printing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills in an agile team environment.
