As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead complex projects from conceptual CAD design through to prototyping and full-scale production validation.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks and Ansys.
- Perform structural analysis and FEA to optimize parts for weight, strength, and thermal efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional design reviews to ensure alignment with electrical and firmware teams.
- Create comprehensive engineering documentation, including GD&T and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Mentor junior engineers and lead internal technical knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Manage the lifecycle of mechanical components from prototype validation to mass production.
- Collaborate with vendors and manufacturing partners to ensure design-for-manufacturability (DFM) standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in high-precision mechanical design or robotics.
- Expert-level proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo).
- In-depth knowledge of GD&T standards (ASME Y14.5).
- Proven experience with electromechanical integration and motion control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a collaborative environment.
