Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using CAD/CAE tools
- Develop and optimize aerospace component designs for performance and manufacturability
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation testing
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure production feasibility
- Document design specifications and create detailed technical drawings
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace or high-tech
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in complex product development lifecycles
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or eligibility
