Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design of aerospace propulsion components using CAD/CAM tools
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for critical assemblies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems
- Develop detailed technical documentation and manufacturing specifications
- Optimize designs for weight, cost, and performance requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience in aerospace or automotive
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Proven track record of bringing complex products to market
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
