Responsibilities
- Lead the full product development lifecycle from initial concept to mass production validation.
- Design complex mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks, ensuring high tolerance and performance standards.
- Perform rigorous Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate structural integrity and thermal management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional electrical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Oversee prototype fabrication and manage relationships with external manufacturing vendors.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in CAD data management and design reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize assembly cycle times and reduce production costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within robotics or automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Proven track record of designing high-precision components for automated machinery.
- Deep understanding of GD&T, material selection, and modern manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, 3D printing).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex kinematic and dynamic challenges.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical project discussions.
