Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle using SolidWorks and ANSYS for automotive components
- Develop and optimize sustainable energy systems through thermal and fluid dynamics analysis
- Validate designs through FEA/CFD simulations and physical prototyping
- Mentor junior engineers while driving continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Interface with clients to translate technical requirements into innovative solutions
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and automotive safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of industry experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Proven track record in automotive or energy sector product development
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Experience with Agile project management and PLM systems
