Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations and optimize structural performance
- Develop manufacturing processes with DFM/DFA principles
- Manage project timelines and deliverables in Agile environment
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Interface with suppliers for component sourcing and validation
- Document technical specifications and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years aerospace or high-tech product design experience
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD and simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Proven experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Experience with DOE and statistical process control
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
