Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle, from concept development and 3D modeling to prototyping and production release.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or NX) to create complex assemblies and detailed drawings compliant with industry standards.
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and simulation testing to validate structural integrity and thermal performance.
- Collaborate seamlessly with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Drive innovation in material selection and manufacturing processes to optimize cost efficiency and product reliability.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, conducting technical reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables within strict deadlines using Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Expert proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Siemens NX) and FEA tools.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, additive manufacturing).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and propose effective engineering solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
