Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design and development of complex electromechanical systems.
- Perform detailed design analysis, including FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and thermal simulations to ensure structural integrity.
- Create high-fidelity 2D drawings and 3D CAD models (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) for manufacturing and prototyping.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, electrical engineers, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Manage project timelines, prepare technical specifications, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Conduct failure analysis and implement design improvements to enhance product reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo) and FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) and rapid prototyping is highly preferred.
