Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept validation through production implementation
- Develop and optimize complex assemblies using SolidWorks and CATIA with tolerance analysis expertise
- Conduct FEA simulations (ANSYS/Abaqus) for structural and thermal performance validation
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement DFM principles and cost-reduction initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
- Present technical solutions to C-suite stakeholders and external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of advanced product development experience
- Expert proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks/CATIA) with complex surface modeling capabilities
- Proven track record in FEA/CFD analysis for high-stress environments
- Familiarity with composite materials and additive manufacturing processes
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Experience with automotive or aerospace regulatory requirements (SAE, FAA)
- Demonstrated history of leading successful product launches from prototype to mass production
