Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process from concept generation to mass production.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Perform complex stress analysis, thermal simulations, and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to validate product integrity.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, product managers, and manufacturing specialists.
- Oversee the prototyping and testing phases, providing critical technical feedback for optimization.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing engineering.
- Proficiency in FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or COMSOL.
- Strong command of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) processes is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
