Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design of high-precision robotic components and integrated systems.
- Conduct rigorous FEA and thermal analysis to ensure structural integrity under dynamic loads.
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models and production-ready engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and firmware engineers, for seamless system integration.
- Manage rapid prototyping cycles from concept to functional validation.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
- Evaluate material properties and tolerance specifications for high-performance applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in product design, preferably in robotics or aerospace.
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, PTC Creo, or equivalent 3D CAD software.
- Proven track record of taking complex designs through successful production ramp-up.
- Deep understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, 3D printing).
- Experience with simulation software (ANSYS or COMSOL) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
