Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of complex robotic systems and sub-assemblies.
- Perform structural and thermal FEA analysis to ensure component reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics, sensors, and actuators.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications for manufacturing.
- Oversee prototype fabrication and lead rigorous performance testing and validation cycles.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement of internal design standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, specifically in robotics, automotive, or aerospace.
- Expert proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or NX) and PDM systems.
- Strong background in GD&T and DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly).
- Demonstrated experience with FEA tools (Ansys or Abaqus).
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
