Responsibilities
- Lead the full-cycle design and development of complex mechanical components and robotic assemblies.
- Perform detailed FEA and thermal analysis to optimize system performance and structural integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, electrical, and control engineers.
- Manage rapid prototyping phases using additive manufacturing and CNC machining processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to ensure industry-leading quality standards.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, BOMs, and manufacturing specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical product design, ideally in robotics or automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or PTC Creo.
- Hands-on experience with GD&T and ISO manufacturing standards.
- Strong grasp of kinematics, dynamics, and materials science.
- Proven track record of taking complex products from concept through to full production.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
