Responsibilities
- Design and iterate on complex robotic assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks/NX).
- Conduct rigorous FEA and thermal analysis to ensure structural integrity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics and control systems.
- Manage the entire prototyping lifecycle, including testing, validation, and design optimization.
- Ensure all engineering outputs comply with global safety standards and internal quality metrics.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews to uphold high technical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably within the robotics or aerospace industry.
- Expertise in SolidWorks and PDM/PLM systems.
- Strong background in GD&T and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems under tight development timelines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical project discussions.
