Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using SolidWorks and CATIA V6
- Develop and optimize automotive powertrain components for efficiency and performance
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations using ANSYS to validate design integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in electrical and software engineering
- Manage project timelines and technical documentation per ISO standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and parametric design
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes
- Certification in FEA analysis (CSWP or equivalent preferred)
- Experience with automotive NVH testing and validation protocols
- Proven track record in leading complex mechanical projects from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven approach
