Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and water treatment facilities
- Perform advanced structural analysis using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit BIM tools
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and compliance with local/state regulations (TCEQ)
- Conduct site investigations, geotechnical evaluations, and feasibility studies
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams (architects, environmental specialists)
- Develop detailed construction documents and ensure adherence to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PE license required)
- 8+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure or transportation projects
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS) and geotechnical software
- Strong knowledge of FEMA floodplain regulations and TCEQ permitting processes
- Proven track record of managing projects over $5M with zero safety incidents
- LEED AP certification preferred
- Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills
