Responsibilities
- Lead the full product development lifecycle from conceptual design to prototype validation.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings for high-precision mechanical assemblies.
- Perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to ensure structural integrity and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, electrical, and systems engineering.
- Select and qualify materials, components, and manufacturing processes for cost-efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate design performance under operational loads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in complex mechanical design and product development.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or PTC Creo.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material science.
- Proven track record of transitioning products from R&D to mass production.
- Experience with motion control systems, actuators, and robotics integration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
