Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of complex electrical systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection
- Perform rigorous testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes using advanced instrumentation
- Develop and implement firmware for embedded systems using C/C++ and real-time operating systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (UL, CE, FCC) and regulatory requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews to maintain design excellence
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to optimize system integration
- Document designs thoroughly, including BOMs, test procedures, and technical specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in consumer electronics product development
- Expertise in high-speed digital design and analog circuit analysis
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or equivalent EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of power electronics and battery management systems
- Experience with EMC/EMI testing and mitigation strategies
- Proven ability to lead projects from concept to mass production
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
