Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of thermal management systems for EV powertrains using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Develop and validate prototypes through FEA/CFD analysis and physical testing in our accredited lab
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams to integrate mechatronic solutions
- Drive DFM initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce production costs by 15%
- Mentor junior engineers while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of automotive design experience
- Expert proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) and simulation software
- Demonstrated success in developing thermal management systems for EV/Hybrid applications
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes (injection molding, CNC)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and PLM systems
- Proven track record of reducing component weight while improving performance metrics
