Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept to production using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations and structural analysis for high-stress components
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and scalability
- Develop detailed technical documentation including BOMs, GD&T, and assembly drawings
- Collaborate with R&D team to prototype and validate new energy storage solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for industrial products
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, sheet metal, CNC)
- Certification in GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and project management (PMP a plus)
- Demonstrated experience with energy storage or HVAC systems
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from conception to launch
