Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design process from concept to production using industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Conduct detailed stress analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure product integrity and safety.
- Develop and manage prototypes, oversee testing protocols, and iterate based on engineering feedback.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain to optimize assembly processes.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards (ASME, ISO, ASTM) and regulatory requirements.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including 2D drawings, BOMs, and design specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficient in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks, Creo, or Inventor) and FEA tools.
- Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical presentations.
