Responsibilities
- Architect and design complex mechanical assemblies for robotic systems using SolidWorks.
- Perform comprehensive FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to ensure structural integrity and optimization.
- Collaborate with electrical and firmware engineering teams to integrate mechatronic systems seamlessly.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including prototype testing, design validation, and DFMA implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
- Liaise with external vendors and manufacturing partners to ensure high-quality component production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical product design, preferably in robotics or aerospace.
- Expert-level proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred, Autodesk Inventor or Creo considered).
- Proven track record in performing dynamic structural simulations and thermal analysis.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, injection molding, and additive manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a bias for action and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional project management.
