Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for solar/wind microgrids and energy storage solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing power electronics and control systems
- Perform complex circuit analysis and simulations using SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and compliance reports (UL/IEC standards)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of design schematics
- Research emerging technologies in HVDC transmission and IoT-enabled grid monitoring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of power systems experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and PLC programming (Siemens/Allen-Bradley)
- Expertise in power electronics design (inverters, converters, battery BMS)
- Strong analytical skills for fault analysis and load flow calculations
- Experience with IEEE 1547 and NFPA 70E standards compliance
- PE license preferred; Six Sigma certification a plus
