Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production, utilizing CAD/CAE tools
- Develop and optimize thermal management systems for renewable energy applications
- Conduct FEA simulations and stress analysis to validate structural integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product lifecycle management
- Create detailed technical documentation and manufacturing specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ASME standards and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics
- Certification in ASME BPVC Section VIII or equivalent
- Experience with additive manufacturing and DFM principles
- Proven track record of delivering complex mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
