We are looking for a visionary Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation automated assembly solutions. You will work in a high-velocity environment, bridging the gap between theoretical mechanical concepts and market-ready industrial hardware.
This role offers the opportunity to own the full design lifecycle, from initial ideation to final production verification.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design of complex robotic subsystems, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
- Develop detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks or Creo.
- Conduct FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to validate structural integrity and thermal management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers and supply chain managers.
- Manage design reviews, tolerance analysis, and documentation of technical specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion design-for-manufacturing (DFM) best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement of mechanical systems to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in robotics, automotive, or industrial machinery design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks/Creo/AutoCAD) is non-negotiable.
- Strong grasp of GD&T, material selection, and precision machining processes.
- Demonstrated experience in structural analysis and dynamic system simulation.
- Proven track record of taking complex mechanical assemblies from concept to mass production.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to present technical solutions to stakeholders.
