Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production
- Develop detailed CAD models using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Perform FEA/CFD analysis for stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototype testing and validation
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance
- Prepare technical documentation and manufacturing specifications
- Stay current with industry standards and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for automotive/industrial sectors
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and CATIA with complex assemblies
- Strong knowledge of FEA/CFD tools (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Proven track record in product development lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
