Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle mechanical design of robotic end-effectors and automated assembly modules.
- Perform complex structural and thermal analysis using FEA to ensure reliability under extreme operational loads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics, sensors, and software into cohesive mechanical systems.
- Manage rapid prototyping cycles and oversee DFM/DFA initiatives to streamline production.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to uphold the highest quality standards.
- Develop detailed engineering documentation, including CAD models, BOMs, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in machine design or robotics.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor with strong PDM experience.
- Deep understanding of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, additive manufacturing).
- Proven track record of taking complex products from concept through to successful launch.
- Experience with mechatronics integration and motion control systems is highly preferred.
