Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct reservoir simulation studies to evaluate production strategies and enhance recovery factors.
- Analyze geological and petrophysical data to build and calibrate high-fidelity reservoir models.
- Collaborate with drilling, production, and geoscience teams to optimize well placement and completion designs.
- Perform decline curve analysis and material balance calculations to forecast future field performance.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory stakeholders.
- Identify and implement technologies to reduce operating costs and improve asset economics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard simulation software such as Eclipse, Kingdom, or CMG.
- Strong understanding of PVT properties, fluid flow mechanisms, and reservoir drive types.
- Experience with well testing, history matching, and production optimization techniques.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
