Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD for automotive components
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop manufacturing processes and optimize designs for cost-effective production
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and test new engineering solutions
- Generate detailed technical documentation and BOMs
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years in mechanical design with automotive/automation focus
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Strong FEA/CFD simulation skills (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- GD&T certification and manufacturing process knowledge
- Proven project leadership with cross-functional teams
- Active PE license preferred
