Responsibilities
- Design and prototype complex mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks and advanced simulation tools.
- Lead cross-functional design reviews to ensure alignment with manufacturing constraints and assembly requirements.
- Conduct rigorous FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to validate structural integrity under dynamic load conditions.
- Select and integrate advanced motion control components, including actuators, gearboxes, and precision bearings.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and best-in-class engineering standards.
- Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to oversee successful transition from design to production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in product design, specifically in robotics, automotive, or aerospace.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and PDM systems.
- Expertise in GD&T standards and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Strong understanding of material properties, heat treatment, and precision machining processes.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end projects with high attention to detail and schedule adherence.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
