Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept to production validation
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations and optimize structural performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrated system architectures
- Develop detailed technical documentation and compliance reports
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Research emerging materials and manufacturing methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering + 8+ years experience (MS preferred)
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS Suite
- Proven track record in aerospace or high-reliability systems
- Strong GD&T knowledge and tolerance analysis expertise
- Experience with additive manufacturing and composite materials
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
