- Perform advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate structural integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and firmware engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Lead DFM (Design for Manufacturing) initiatives to optimize production costs and assembly times.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, including CAD models, BOMs, and engineering specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
- Select and source high-performance materials and components based on project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical product design, specifically in robotics or automated systems.
- Expertise in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or Catia).
- Strong proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Deep understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, casting), and tolerancing.
- Proven track record of taking complex products from prototype to full-scale production.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with simulation tools (ANSYS/SolidWorks Simulation).
