Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical product development from concept to prototyping using CAD/CAE tools
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance targets
- Collaborate with suppliers on component validation and quality control
- Develop detailed technical documentation and test procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical product design for automotive/industrial sectors
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in managing product development lifecycles
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
