Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using SolidWorks and ANSYS for consumer energy products
- Perform FEA/CFD analysis to optimize thermal performance and structural integrity
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs with GD&T specifications
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated system design
- Validate prototypes through rigorous testing and iterative improvements
- Mentor junior engineers and implement design best practices
- Research emerging materials and manufacturing techniques for product enhancement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS/AutoCAD
- Proven track record in product development lifecycle management
- Strong knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and manufacturing processes
- Certification in GD&T (ASME Y14.5) preferred
- Experience with energy storage systems or HVAC design highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
