Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept to prototyping
- Develop detailed CAD models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for structural and thermal analysis
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams on DFM and process optimization
- Manage project timelines and technical documentation compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years' experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Proven track record in complex product development lifecycle
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
- Strong analytical skills with DOE and statistical analysis experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
