We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to lead the mechanical design of our flagship automation systems.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical design and practical manufacturing, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of precision, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Lead Mechanical Design: Develop complex 3D models and detailed 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Simulation & Analysis: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to validate structural integrity and thermal performance.
- Prototyping & Testing: Collaborate with the R&D team to build prototypes, conduct physical stress tests, and iterate on designs based on empirical data.
- Manufacturing Handoff: Partner with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are optimized for production (DFM) and cost-effective.
- Project Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and manage project timelines to ensure on-time delivery of critical milestones.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to relevant safety standards (ISO, ANSI) and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA).
- Analysis: Strong understanding of GD&T, stress analysis, material properties, and tribology.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of troubleshooting complex engineering problems and delivering innovative solutions.
