Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical systems, including PCB layouts, schematics, and BOMs
- Lead validation testing for power electronics, signal integrity, and EMI compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Collaborate with firmware teams to optimize hardware-software integration
- Research and implement emerging power management technologies
- Ensure compliance with UL, CE, and IPC-2221 industry standards
- Manage project timelines and deliverables within Agile methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design for consumer products
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or equivalent EDA tools
- Strong background in thermal management and reliability analysis
- Experience leading NPI (New Product Introduction) projects from concept to mass production
- Proficiency in Python/MATLAB for simulation and data analysis
- Active PE license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proven track record of optimizing designs for cost, performance, and manufacturability
