Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of aerospace components using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations for structural and thermal analysis
- Develop detailed engineering documentation including GD&T specifications
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and FAA certification standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD tools and simulation software
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Certification in Six Sigma or Project Management a plus
- Demonstrated experience with DOF and tolerance analysis
