Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept to prototyping using CAD/CAE tools
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations and stress analysis for complex assemblies
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and scalability
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with R&D teams on patentable innovations
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry safety standards
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years in mechanical design with 3D CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/CATIA)
- Expertise in FEA/CFD simulation (ANSYS/Abaqus)
- Proven track record in manufacturing process optimization
- Strong knowledge of materials science and GD&T
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
