Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-precision mechanical assemblies for robotic arms and end-effectors.
- Conduct rigorous FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to ensure structural integrity and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics, sensors, and control systems.
- Manage the full product development lifecycle from initial concept and prototyping to mass production.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in CAD standards and documentation.
- Select materials and manufacturing processes (CNC, Additive Manufacturing, Injection Molding) to optimize cost and performance.
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure seamless assembly and precision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, PTC Creo, or Siemens NX.
- Strong background in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Proven experience with FEA simulation software (Ansys or Abaqus).
- Solid understanding of kinematic design and dynamic system analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
