Responsibilities
- Lead the full product lifecycle from conceptual design through to manufacturing deployment.
- Execute complex mechanical simulations and FEA to validate structural integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, electrical, and control systems engineers.
- Drive continuous improvement of mechanical systems to optimize cycle times and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to maintain engineering standards.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, assembly drawings, and test reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Expert proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or NX preferred).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material selection (metals and polymers).
- Proven track record of taking complex mechanical assemblies into high-volume production.
- Experience with motion control systems, actuators, and sensor integration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
