Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of wind turbine components using CAD/CAE tools
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for performance optimization
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications for production partners
- Collaborate with R&D team on material innovation and failure mode analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and review design compliance with industry standards (ASME, ISO)
- Interface with suppliers to qualify components and optimize supply chain logistics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred) with 5+ years of experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS/Abaqus simulation software
- Proven track record in product development from prototype to production
- Knowledge of composite materials and lightweight design principles
- Certification in GD&T and tolerance stack analysis
- Experience with agile development methodologies and PLM systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making approach
